Avraham Mana

Arran Goldman

Avraham is a professional triathlete with a competitive background spanning collegiate swimming, short-course triathlon, and professional non-drafting middle-distance racing. A former collegiate swimmer, he graduated in 2019 and continues to hold his school record in the 200 yard butterfly. His swimming background remains a major strength in triathlon, including three top 10 swim exits from professional fields during the 2026 season.

Before moving into middle distance racing, Avraham competed in short-course triathlon, giving him experience across very different styles of racing and training. In 2026, he completed his third season racing professionally at the middle distance level. His results include winning the 2025 Patriot Half Triathlon in course record time and setting a 3:54:23 personal best at the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 Boise Pro Series race, finishing 19th in the professional field.

Throughout his career, Avraham has trained alongside and been coached by some of the leading athletes and coaches in triathlon, gaining firsthand exposure to different high performance training systems and approaches to athlete development. His background also includes lactate testing and the application of lactate metabolism to endurance performance, allowing him to combine practical racing experience with a deeper understanding of the physiology behind training.

As a coach, Avraham has particular strengths in swim and run technique analysis, performance data interpretation, and translating those observations into practical changes in training. His approach at CTC Endurance centers on individualized programming, consistent long-term development, and making sure athletes understand not only what they are doing, but why they are doing it.

Arran Goldman is a performance endurance coach, U.S. Navy officer, and medical student at the University of Maryland. She holds a degree in Human Health from Emory University and conducted and published research on individual and population level nutritional interventions in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Arran competed as a collegiate triathlete for Emory University, where she earned her degree in Human Health with a specialized focus on adaptive stress mechanisms.

As a coach, she integrates her scientific background in stress physiology, environmental conditioning (heat/cold/sauna), and evidence based nutrition into endurance training. Having conducted and presented research on non surgical interventions for joint overuse and osteoarthritis, paired with personal overuse and acute accident injuries, she prioritizes heavy lifting, preventative prehab, and recovery modalities to bulletproof athletes against high volume training loads and support long term joint health and longevity across all age brackets, including masters athletes.

Her coaching is backed by personal success across extreme and long-course racing: she is an Ironman 70.3 Cairns age group winner, a third place overall female finisher at Patagonman, sharing the podium with world and Olympic champions; a Georgia State Time Trial Champion, and a two-time overall 50km ultramarathon winner and course record holder.

At CTC Endurance, Arran specializes in helping endurance athletes optimize their training load, master their physiology, and achieve breakthroughs at every distance.
